Hay Fever (4464) June 2010

Eyes become glazed, stay inside they say, antihistamine pills, the body weary.

twig® says: Allergies are a real pain. J has had several mozzie bites in the past few days that are causing her a bit of grief. I've had similar but they are only a small local nuisance while J's cause quite a bit of swelling. The antihistamines help but also add another dimension of drug induced haze.

tonyhall says: I wait a while before taking the hay fever pills, it's a balance, once the eyes and nose become overwhelmed I take the pills if I'm out and about, inside it's just cold water rinses and rest.

clifsnap says: Hope the hay fever is subsiding, Kate suffers badly from it too. Jane has the same trouble with insect bites as Rogers J. And it's not as if there are any tigers out there.

stewpic says: Luckily I don't suffer from hay fever you must look at flowers with a view of caution.

tonyhall says: Clif, the symptoms eased off this week with the changeable weather.

tonyhall says: Stewart, I think it's some seeds blowing from trees that gets to me, possibly the Plane tree, and we have a big one outside our living room window!
