Greener View (4388) May 2010
Facing South, breeze brushing leaves, hot coffee, warm bread, cool gruyere cheese, window flowers glowing, Virginia Creeper framing, Silver Birch shimmering. Gradually our constructed view is becoming greener.

Is that the 'new' table top?
Looks really good!
What did you use to 'seal' it?
tonyhall says:
Twig, it's the 'old' table top, I think it was initially dipped in teak oil. We've more or less given up on replacing the other round table top, too expensive.
clifsnap says:
Twig, You can buy sanding sealer ,I used Liberon, I don't know if I told you that. You can then wax or oil it once it's sealed. Your computer work-top shouldn't get too much wear or a wetting.

Delightful view .
twig® says:
Liberon? I'll investigate that!
As to wear and wetting, I often shed tears of anger and joy when @ the 'workstation' so some form of protection is necessary.

I like the look of the holistic cheese.
tonyhall says:
Stewart, this table is a favourite object, probably one of the things I would try and hold onto if we had to move.
tonyhall says:
Tom, this Norwegian cheese tasted wholesome as well.
